TRUST
HE WANTS TO MAKE YOUR LIFE A GLORIOUS ADVENTURE,BUT YOU MUST SEEK TO KNOW HIM IN GREATER DEPTH AND BREADTH INSTEAD OF STRIVING FOR A SAFE LIFESTYLE.
ITS EASY TO GO TO BIBLE STUDY, TO GO TO CHURCH, TO FELLOWSHIP WITH FRIENDS. ITS WHEN YOU STEP OUT AND LIVE A LIFE THAT CALLS YOU TO UNCOMFORTABLENESS(IF THATS A WORD). TO ACTUALLY BELIEVE;YES! HE WILL PROVIDE FOR OUR NEEDS, AND LET HIM. I LONG FOR THE ADVENTURE THAT A LIFE ABANDONED TO YOU CAN BRING, AND AT THE SAME TIME I CLING TO OLD WAYS BECAUSE CHANGE FRIGHTENS ME. I SETTLE FOR MEDIOCRITY BECAUSE IT MAKES ME FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE. MEANWHILE I CONTINUE TO BATTLE FEAR. ONLY THE LOVE OF JESUS IS STRONG ENOUGH TO BREAK THE HOLD FEAR HAS ON ME.WHEN UNEXPECTED EVENTS SHAKE UP MY ROUTINES, I SHOULD REJOICE! ITS EXACTLY WHAT I NEED TO WAKE ME UP AND POINT ME TOWARDS HIM. RECOGNIZE THAT WE ARE ON THE THRESHOLD OF A NEW ADVENTURE AND HE WILL BE WITH US EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!
THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE.BUT PERFECT LOVE DRIVES OUT FEAR,BECAUSE FEAR HAS TO DO WITH PUNISHMENT.THE ONE WHO FEARS IS NOT MADE PERFECT IN LOVE. 1 JOHN4:18

WHY?
why it was'nt?
you should be here now, but you are'nt.
new life escaped.
was it me?
did i say you out of life?
i wanted you ....i needed you.
it hurts.
im worthless. i feel empty .
walking through the days with no purpose.
ive never felt this before, im feeling it now.
letting it absorb my being.
how much longer, i hope not much.
hopelessness sucks!!!

LOVE BIRDS.
ive been with chris for 17 years....WHAT!! no did i just say 17 years....
WOW!! any way, as i sit and think about US i cant help but be so humbled by the fact that we have made it this far. we've been so close to the edge of hopelessness , to giving up. my love for him today is so much more then my love for him of yesteryears. maybe its maturity or maybe its learning to give the love instead of expecting it . i cant help but be overwhelmed with gratefulness to our savior Jesus Christ for redeeming us from the pit . i did'nt think i could love but im finding out daily that if i look to my father in heaven to teach me and mold me he will show me how to love, truely LOVE! so on this month of our anniversary i ask God to continue to show me how to love, truely love!!!
side note: chris and i have never celebrated an anniversary, odd i know.
we are learning , we are learning!

above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.

our heart-our feeling of love and desire- dictates to a great extent how we live because we always find time to do what we enjoy.Solomon tells us to guard our hearts above all else, making sure we concentrate on those desires that keep us on the right path.make sure your affections push you in the right direction. put boundaries on your desires: don't go after everything you see. keep your eyes fixed on the goal and don't get
sidetracked to sin.
i had never been taught this scripture when i was a young girl, it would have saved me a lot of heart ache. i will teach my daughter this and will pray fervently on her behalf.

He has risen !
he is the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the first and the last,the beginning and the end, the most high, the everlasting, all knowing, the father,the son ,the holy spirit and NOTHING could keep him down! i know why the caged bird sings
Caged Bird
A free bird leaps
on the back of the wind
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wing
in the orange sun rays
and dares to claim the sky.
But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage
can seldom see through
his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and
his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.
The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom.

and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn

Courage
i just finished the beth moore bible study on esther. i had never read the story . i had heard bits and pieces but never had it touch my heart as it did these last 9 weeks. the book never speaks Gods name but he is ALL over it. he uses a young orphan jewish girl to save her people from death. she rises to the call with courage and faith and allows God to use her for his Glorious deliverance of his people. she was born "for such a time as this"esther4v14. as i got more into the study mordecai( the faithful man who raised her) begin to interest me. i had never known his part in the story. he too was a huge part in carrying out Gods plan. he stayed true to his calling and knew with great faithfulness God would use his beloved esther to save his people. he fasted, weeped and wailed on behalf of her and his people. sometimes i feel like mordecai , with such a burden to see my people set free! free from the bondage of sin that has been yoked on us since the fall in the garden of eden. JESUS was sent to us just for that . i like mordecai sit at the gate wailing!!
